She was an elementary school teacher and principal. She received her undergraduate degree from SUNY at Oswego and her master's degree from Hofstra University. She was a member of Holy Redeemer Catholic Church, Palm City.
Survivors include her sons, James S. Peters of Wilmington, N.C., Michael T. Peters of Reno, Nev., and Kevin J. Peters of Wilmington; sister, Frances Kelly of Sierra Vista, Ariz.; and six grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husbands, James L. Peters and Thomas Richard Brady.
Services: A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. June 26 at Holy Redeemer Catholic Church. Interment will follow in Forest Hill Memorial Park, Palm City.
