Dwaine was of the Christian Faith. He moved to Colorado and worked for the Bouvard Supply Co. In November of 1983, he bought the Riverview Resort and continued to run it until he sold it in May of 2008. In October of 2007, he bought the Townhouse Cafe and continued to run it until his death.
He is survived by his five daughters, a daughter & her husband of Beaver, OK; a daughter & her husband of Eureka Springs, AR; a daughter & her husband of Bartlesville, OK; a daughter & her husband of Ada, OK;a daughter & her husband of Sherwood, AR; a step daughter of Amarillo, TX; and a step daughter of Enid, OK; one stepson of Beaver, OK; one sister & her husband of Haskell, OK; one brother & his wife of Cromwell, OK; twenty grandchildren and eleven great grandchildren, several nieces and nephews and a host other relatives and friends.
On November 10, 1972, he was united in marriage with Billie Jean Savoy who preceded him in death. He is also preceded in death by his parents, grandparents, and one brother.
Visitation will be from 5:00-7:00 P.M. Sunday, June 24, 2012 at the Nelson's Chapel of the Springs. Graveside services will be 10:00 A.M. Monday, June 25, 2012 at the Fuller McClung Cemetery. Interment will be at the Fuller McClung Cemetery. Memorials may be made to American Kidney Association, 3505 E. Frontage Rd., Suite 315, Tampa, FL 33607.
