Gail Knight Cardwell, 65, passed away June 21, 2012. She was born May 21, 1947 in Union County, daughter of the late Miller Gallant and Mary Jenkins Knight.

Ms. Cardwell is survived by sons Michael Wayne Griffin and Daniel Griffin, both of Indian Trail, brothers Donny, Benny and Barry Knight, sister Mary Oleen Helms of Monroe and grandchildren, Taylor, Courtney and Bethany Griffin and Kristopher, Shelby, James and Patricia Griffin.
