JOEL S. ALEXANDER, age 90, died June 12, 2012. Beloved companion of Marilyn Miller; preceded in death by his former wife Dolores. Private interment at All Souls Cemetery in Chardon.

Mr. Alexander was born March 3, 1922, in New York City, N.Y. and was a U.S. Navy veteran. He worked at the former Reliance Electric in Euclid for more than 40 years, retiring in 1982. After retiring, he continued working as a cable installer at Shoregate Towers, school crossing guard in Willowick, and lastly was a bailiff for Willoughby Municipal Court.

He is survived by his beloved companion, Marilyn Miller; children; Ron (Kathy), Diana "Cricket" Stang (Chet Liberatore), and Debbi Dorsey (Tom); five grandchildren, five great-grandchildren and was an uncle to many nieces and nephews. In addition to his wife Dolores, he was preceded in death by son, Joel D. Alexander.
