Christina Bede Alstat, 25, of Route 3 died at 2:35 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 29, 1989, in St. Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau.

Services will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday in the Church of the Nazarence, with burial in Goodbread Cemetery in Forham. Visitation will be from 5 to 9 p.m. today at Pettett Funeral Home, and from 9 to 10 a.m. Wednesday at the church. Memorials may be made to the Daniel Christopher Alstat Educational Fund.

Mrs. Alstat worked as a mail handler at the Murphysboro post office. She was a member of the Church of the Nazarene.

She was born Dec. 24, 1963, in Murphysboro to Charles and Rose (Rimkus) Lindsey.

She married Daniel Alstat in 1984. He survives.

Other survivors include one son, Daniel Alstat of Murphysboro; her parents of Gorham; one brother, Charles Lindsey of Murphysboro; one sister, Mary Arbeiter of DeSoto; and one grandparent, Hattie Lindsey of Murphysboro.
