Bonnie Jean was the precious daughter of William G. and Otie M. McGarrah.
Bonnie had two brothers ~ Harold McGarrah and Paul McGarrah, and five sisters ~ Elsie Regina McGarrah (Insco), Evelyn Freda McGarrah (Inlow), Barbara McGarrah (Sturm), Yvonne McGarrah (Brandon) and Wanda McGarrah (Brannon).

She married Clyde Wayne Rone on August 27, 1950. They were blessed with two sons ~ Ronald and Donald Rone.

She was proud to have been born and raised in Benton County, and loved her farm and home very much. Together with her husband, she owned and operated a Holstein Dairy Farm for many years and was a member of both the Cattlemen's and Cattle Women's Assocation.

Bonnie had an extensive knowledge of roses, was a member of the American Rose Society and judged many rose shows throughout the country. She spent hours cultivating her many roses and shared her roses and garden with her friends and family.

She was the editor of Petal Talk for many years. She was active in the 4-H Club for many years, working with the youth.

She was a faithful member of the First Baptist Church in Cave Springs for many years and was active in the Gospel Crusaders Class.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Clyde Rone, in 1998; and one sister, Elsie McGarrah Insco.
