Chancy Bowman, age 57, of B'ham Route 3, (Collier's Center), passed away at a local infirmary Monday morning. Survived by the widow, Mrs. Zula Bowman; 3 sons, Raymond, Allen and Curtis Bowman; 2 daughters, Mrs. S.E. Kirkpatrick and Mrs. W.L. Hester; 8 brothers, W.H., F.H., Leander, Clarence, Herman, John and Mack Bowman; 2 sisters, Mrs. Clenn Crane and Mrs. D.L. Chandler; 4 grandchildren. Funeral services from Hillview Baptist Church Wednesday, 3 p.m. Interment adjoining cemetery, Rev. A.T. Brown, Rev. A.J. Darling and Rev. Carl Cox officiating. Bell directing.
