Marie was born in Hyllsted Soro Denmark to Peter and Anne Marie Nielsdatter Larsen. She came with her family to the US in 1881. On July 16 1881 she married Jens Aagaard in Omaha Nebr.
they had eight children, Thorvald, James, Emil, Alfred, Signe, Anna and Valborg.
