Robert G. Bohlman, age 75, of Belvidere, IL passed away Tuesday, June 12, 2012, at OSF Saint Anthony Medical Center.
Born Jan. 11, 1937, in Belvidere, IL; son of Lawrence and Margaret (nee Faith) Bohlman Sr. He attended Belvidere schools. Served in the Army National Guard and Reserves.
He was predeceased by wife, Winifred F. White.
He married Teresa M. Coots in August 2008 in South Dakota. Robert was the owner and operator of Bohlman Water Consultants Inc., before retiring in 2010. He loved animals, especially horses, enjoyed horse trading, and liked to collect cars.
Survived by wife, Teresa M. Bohlman; son, Joe (Marzee) Bohlman of Belvidere; daughters, Debbie (Jeff) Hyser, Pam Bohlman and Sherry (Chuck) Hendrickson, all of Belvidere and Roberta Bohlman of Rockford; step-daughters, Shana (Daniel) Brandt of Montgomery and Kristinna (Shawn) Dixon of Belvidere; grandchildren, Austin and Brandon Smaha, Leslie and Mitch Hendrickson, Nicole Baney, David Casey, Pharon Bohlman, Brittany, Emily, Joey, Nikolaus and Joshua Bohlman; stepgrandchildren, Kalli, Zoee and Jaiden Brandt, Baylee and McKenzie Dixon; and sister, Kathleen Munn of Antlers, Okla.
Predeceased also by parents; brothers, Lawrence and Ronnie; and sister, Louise Chapman.
Service at noon Saturday, June 16, at Belvidere Funeral Home. with visitation from 9 a.m. to time of service. Interment in Belvidere Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, a memorial is being established in his memory.
