Charles P. Overton, 68, of Melville, died last night at his home in Melville after an illness of about a month. He was a farmer and was widely known in that area.
Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday[, July 25, 1946,] at the Melville Methodist Church with interment in the church cemetery.
