Folk Musician, Singer, Performer. He was a Chilean folk singer and musician, remembered for being one of the members of famous Chilean group "Quilapayún." Among his songs are "Canto a la pampa", "Soy obrero" of the "Cantata Santa María de Iquique," "La carta," and "Pido castigo." He played guitar, quenas and percussions. In 1987, he left the group, and he began to work in cultural management. With the return of democracy in Chile, he worked in the Municipality of Santiago. He was murdered in an obscure incident in the city of Santiago.
