Mrs. Rosetta A. Timm was born in Germany, May 18, 1856. She departed this life on March 3, 1923, at her home in San Pierre, at the age of 67 years. At the age of 14, she came to America with her parents, living almost her entire life in and near San Pierre. In 1877 she became united in marriage to Michael Timm, a veteran of the Civil War. This union came a family of 13 children--7 boys and 6 girls. Of these children, 11 survive, Elizabeth and Charlie dying young. The devoted husband and father passed to the great beyond on May 5, 1913, leaving his wife well provided for with a home, and in the care of her devoted children. Left to mourn her death are her children -- August Timm of English Lake; William Timm of San Pierre; Michael Timm of English Lake; Herman Timm of Wanatah; John Timm of Bass Lake; Henry Timm of San Pierre; Mrs. Emma Arndt of Colfax, Ind.; Mrs. Julia Kinderman, Mrs. Rosa Runkell, Mrs. Laura Eckert and Mrs. Adlena Berg, all of San Pierre. Twenty-two grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren also survive her, who will miss their grandmother who loved them. Hosts of friends also join in the sympathy and sorrow of the bereaved children, who grew to manhood and womanhood beneath their mother's roof, guided by a loving mother's hand upon the right course of life. Funeral services were held from the St. Luke's Evangelical church of San Pierre, Rev. Weiss officiating. Burial was made in the San Pierre cemetery.
