Earnestene Zenna Burkholder, 85, Osprey, died Feb. 18, 1996.

She was born April 19, 1910, in Grand Traverse County, Mich., and came to Osprey 30 years ago from Traverse City, Mich. She was a homemaker. She was a member of the Eagles Auxiliary in Nokomis, Disabled American Veterans Chapter 101 in Nokomis, Women of the Moose Auxiliary in Venice and Veterans of Foreign Wars in Venice. She was a Protestant.

Survivors include two daughters, Lorraine Weeks of Kent City, Mich., and Beverly Nyland of Sarasota; a son, Raymond of Acme, Mich.; a sister, Crystal Stein of Kingsley, Mich.; 13 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be from 4 to 7 p.m. today at Ewing Funeral Home, Venice Chapel. Additional services and burial will be in Traverse City.
