James William Tibbetts, age 74, passed away on Saturday June 9, 2012. He was born February 7, 1938, in West End, Cayman Brac, British West Endies to parents Kelly H. Tibbetts and Althea Doreen (Scott) Tibbetts. He was preceded in death by his loving wife Carolyn Inez Tibbetts; brothers Airley, Kelvin; mother Althea; and father Kelly Tibbetts.
He is survived by his daughter Lynn (Scott); sons Richard, Michael (Diane), Brian (Julie), Robin (Allen), Kevin (Scott); grandchildren Sean (Sandra), Christina (Jon), Kristin (Rich), Jennifer, Shane, Melissa, Cynthia, Jesse, Keith, Brianna, Erika; great-grandchildren, Joshua, Liam, Gannon, Caitlynn, Evan, Alena, Zoie, Tristan; brothers Ansley (Chris), Clifford, Donald (Carolyn); sisters Dareene, Alma; Sister-in-law Louise, his poodle "Peaches" and many other loving family members who love and miss him very much.
He loved fast cars and his computer. He spent hours researching genealogy, tracing his ancestry back to his 26th Great Grandfather, William I "The Conqueror" De (of) Normandie. More than anything he loved his wife, their 6 kids, 11 grandkids, 10 great-grandkids, their poodle "Peaches", whom they lovingly called their seventh child, his brothers and sisters, and the many other family members in his life.
