Sophia Bardeen, is listed in the 1865 NY State Census of Hornellsville, District 02, Steuben, NY with her husband and son Thomas Bardeen's family. [Found on FamilySearch.org] Sophia probably died about or after 1865. 1865 or 1868 would be an easy transcription error on a stone that was one hundred thirteen years old when read.
