Loretta Florence Lillian Agena Kress was the daughter of Gade Agena and Etta Foss. Loretta Florence Lillian Kress. She was born on July 21, 1918 in rural Sterling, Nebraska; and she passed away from cancer at the age of 67 years, 11 months and 18 days, on July 8, 1986.
Loretta married Raymond Kress, the son of Frederick Kress and Louie Edna Boone, on September 14, 1934 in Hanover, Washington Co., Kansas. Raymond and Loretta were the parents of 12 children.
She lived her whole life in the Sterling community. She was a homemaker and raised a huge garden.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Raymond, daughter Linda Lou Kress, Judith Kay Kress Hitz; sons Harvey Lee Kress and Kenneth Wayne Kress.
