George Franklin Gray, 89, died Friday, Nov. 13, 1953, at this home on Colorado Street in Andrews from the infirmities of age after an illness of some time.

Mr. Gray was born January 30, 1864, in Indianapolis to Fred and Miranda Ellen (Catlin) Gray. He was married 68 years ago to Anna Belle Moore who survives. They lived on a farm two miles east of Lagro until 16 years ago when they moved to Andrews.

Surviving also are three sons, Howard Gray, Lagro, Raymond Gray, Grand Rapids, MI, and Forrest Gray, Andrews; two daughters, Mrs. Elsie Fisher, Roann, and Mrs. Ada Hennessey, Detroit; 12 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.

Services were held Monday in the Pilgrim Holiness Church, Andrews, with the Rev. Gilbert Pegg officiating assisted by the Rev. John Mosier. Music was by a quartet from Jonesboro including Arthur Brown, Raymond Brown, Paul Brown and Kemul Hiatt.

Flowerbearers were Mrs. Richard Gray, Mrs. Jerald Gray, Mrs. Vaughn Gray, Mrs. Garland Fisher and Mrs. Ray Coons.

Pallbearers were Richard Gray, Jerald Gray, Vaughn Gray, Dan Gray, Garland Fisher and Ray Coons.
