Sampson Samuel Spurlock, b 18 May 1852 Wapello County, Iowa was the son of Andrew Jackson Spurlock/Polly Smith Spurlock (58417518).
∼Caution: someone is merging "Smith" cemeteries and may start trying to merge memorials. The "Smith" cemetery signage posted by Bill Hahn was stolen from my posting to the first Smith cemetery listing, and now the first cemetery listing has been merged into the duplicate Smith cemetery listing and Bill getting photo credit.
Whomever is doing these cemetery merges in Jefferson county needs to be careful - some of the memorials have been altered to make it appear that there are duplicates that should be merged, some of those memorials have inaccurate information.
The Spurlock families have been difficult enough to try and document without the added stress of having research and cemetery/headstone photos and biographical information merged into those memorials that have been altered to make duplicate memorials appear to be "obvious" to those not following the process.

Married Ida M Houdyshell Spurlock on Sept. 5, 1872 in Wapello county, Iowa. What happened to her???
Children of Samson and Ida Spurlock: Minnie, Mary, Jennie, Parsol, and Lillie.
Samson died just under two months after the death of his daughter Lillie.
