Cumberland Times, Thursday 17 Mar 1932: "Frostburg-Mrs. Clara Barry, aged 51, wife of James J. Barry, Eckhart, died last night following a three days' illness. Mrs. Barry was the mother of 11 children, John, James, William, Laurence, Leo, Joseph, DeSales, Charles, Mary and Loretta Barry. Barry Bros. Orchestra, well known in this section, is made up of her sons. William Smith, Grahamtown, is her brother. Members of the Sodality of the Blessed Virgin will meet tonight at the Barry home to recite prayers. Funeral services will be held tomorrow at 9:30 a.m., at St. Michael's Catholic Church with burial in the church cemetery." Note: Although the obituary shows she had eleven children, she actually had fourteen. Their baptisms are at St. Michael's.
