Frank E. Flannery, 41, resident of Port Huron 20 years, who was well known here during the World War as a representative of the United States government for the purchase of horses died Wednesday in the family residence, 913 Stone Street.

During the last 15 years, he has been depot agent for the Railway Express company. He was formerly employed by the Parke Davis and Co., Detroit, and the Detroit Lumber company.

Mr. Flannery was born Jan. 13, 1890 in Croswell.

He is survived by his widow, Alice Ledsworth Flannery, and two brothers, J. D. Flannery, Miami, Fla., and Thomas T. Flannery, Flint.

Private funeral services at 12:30 p.m. Friday in the residence, will be followed by services at 1 p.m. in the Latter Day Saints church. Elder Matthew W. Liston, former pastor, will officiate. Burial will be in Croswell cemetery. Active pallbearers will be C. J. O'Brien, Worth E. Curtis, Fred L. McMullen Earl H Aikman, T. J. Markham and mayor Fred J. Kemp. honorary pallbearers will be Earl A. Lester, Ernest A. Hamm. Robert J. Wilson, Thomas Kehoe, Howard Courtney and Lotton E Carpenter.
