Anna Adams
Anna Adams, widow of Solomon Adams, died at the home of her son, D. P. Adams, near Ryot, last Sunday morning, at the age of 86 years, seven months and one day. Her husband died about ten years ago since which time she has making her home among her children.
She was he mother of eleven children, six of whom are living, namely, George Adams, of Wells Tannery; Henry and John, of Johnstown; Alexandria, of Wheeling, W.V.; D.P. of Ryot, and Mrs. Catharine Willis, of Pleasantville. There also survive 65 grandchildren, 42 great- grandchildren and six great-great grandchildren.
The deceased was a daughter of Philip and Anna Shrader and was born and spent her life in this vicinity.
She had host of friends as was shown by large number of people that attended her funeral which was held in the M.E. church Tuesday morning, services being conducted by her pastor, Rev, I L. Rudisill, of the U. B. church, who preached an able and impressive sermon from the 11th chapter and 28th verse of St. John.
Her remains were laid to rest in the Stone Church cemetery.

MRS. ANNA ADAMS
Mrs. Anna Adams, one of the oldest residents of Bedford county, died at the home of her son, D. P. Adams, near Ryot, Bedford county, last Sunday, aged about 87 years.
Mrs. Adams had been in failing health for sometime and had made her home with her son for the last year.
She was born in 1819 near Ryot and spent her entire life in that vicinity. She was a daughter of Phillip and Anna Shrader and many years ago was united in marriage with Solomon Adams.
Besides the two sons, D. P. and H.C. mentioned above, Mrs. Adams is survived by the following children: George Adams, of Wells Tannery: Alexandria, of Wheeling, W. Va.: and Catherine Willis, of Alum Bank.
The funeral took place at 10 o'clock Tuesday morning from her late home the services being conducted by the Rev. Mr. Rudisill. a United Brethren pastor.
Interment was made in the cemetery at the old stone church near Fishertown.
