From The Reading Eagle, Nov. 12, 1956:

Bowers, Nov. 12- Mrs. Lillie E. (Wolfe) Angstadt, this place, widow of Franklin Angstadt, died yesterday in the Allentown Hospital. She was 74.

A former resident of this place, she was born in Maidencreek Township, the daughter of the late James and Diana (Knerr) Wolfe. She was a member of the Lutheran faith at New Jerusalem Curch, Rockland Township.

Surviving are these children: Lawrence, Boyertown; Hunter, Reading; Earl, Bowers; Mabel, wife of Edison Fegley, Fleetwood R.D. 1; Edna, wife of Lester Schaeffer, Oley; Katie, wife of Lloyd Dreisbilbis, Virginville; and Howard, Kutztown R.D. 3. Twenty-one grandchildren, 17 great-grandchildren, and five brothers and a sister also survive: Oscar, Reading; Elder, Fleetwood R.D. 1; Isaac, Kutztown R.D.; Leon, Berkley; Sheridan, Fleetwood; Minnie, wife of Earl Gambler, Topton.

Funeral services will be held Thursday at 2 p.m. from the Schofer Funeral Home, Topton, with the Rev. Charles T. Herman officiating. Burial will be in New Jerusalem Cemetery.
