Our beloved, Ronnie Dale Busby, loving husband of Denise McInnis Busby, made his transition on the morning of June 3, 2012 at Methodist Hospital in Houston after an extended illness.
Born on September 22, 1959 in Port Arthur, Texas to Jimmie Dale Busby and Betty Joyce Cook, Ron passed at the age of 52. During his life, Ron attended Nederland High School in the Class of 1977. In his working life, he was a musician, radio personality and dynamic salesman who never met a stranger, inspired others with his faith and kept us all laughing with a sharp sense of humor. At the end of his life he was a resident of Burkeville, Texas along with wife, Denise and their family. He was a loving and devoted father to Whitney Dawn Busby, Cameron Russell Busby and Zachary Thomas Busby; the dear brother of Lloyd Russell Cook, Ricky Dale Busby, Auburn Ray Busby and Lori Rebecca Wood; son-in-law of Raymond Thomas & Charlotte Kay McInnis, brother-in-law of Darla Ann Bailey, Kevin Ray McInnis & Dana Renee Gaspard; and a much loved relative and friend of too many to mention. He is now in Heaven with loved ones who passed before, including grandparents Leah & Leoto Trahan, Nettie Rae Brown, Claude & Getha Mae Busby; his two earthly fathers, Jimmie Dale Busby & Leroy Russell Cook and other family and friends. His immortal soul is at peace and on Sunday, June 10, 2012, the 74th birthday of his loving mother Betty, we will celebrate the love, music, laughter and joy that the memory of Ron's life and spirit will bring to us for comfort in the years ahead. The Memorial Service will be held at Toledo Baptist Church at 9339 RR 255 E, in Burkeville, Texas at 1:00 PM, to be followed by an afternoon of music, stories and fellowship at The Ponderosa park near the church.
