Mrs. Margaret Huyck Coffey, 77, widow of John Coffey, died Monday, March 25, 1935, at the home of her son, Orla Coffey, about two miles east of Lacona, She had made her home in Oneida but during the past four months had been in poor health and was cared for at her son's home.
She was born January 3, 1858 in Otsego county, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Isaac Huyck and moved to Boylston soon after her marriage to John Coffey, who died in 1931.
Mrs. Coffey is survived by a daughter, Mrs. John Dungey, and a son, Orla Coffey, both of Lacona.
Funeral services were held at the home of her son Wednesday, Rev. Floyd Fennen officiating, and burial was in Wesleyan cemetery.
