Lucile was a 1933 graduate of Solsberry High School and a graduate of the Bloomington Business College. Lucile worked for 29 years in Accounting at Sarkes Tarzian. She was a 75 year member of the Stanford Baptist Church and was their oldest member where she taught Sunday School and was a member of the Friendship Class. She was a founding member of the Thrifty Chums Home Economics Club. Lucile was proud of her Greene County roots and was a descendent of the Jackson Family in Jackson County, and her great great grandmother Mary Jackson Edwards was a first cousin to President Andrew Jackson.
