Graveside services at Chambers Cemetery for Gladys Bambeck, age 92, of Palestine, Texas were under the direction of Bailey & Foster Palestine. Mrs. Bambeck passed away June 4, 2012 at Palestine Regional Medical Center. She was born March 20, 1920 in Oakwood, TX to William Earnest Bryan and Gertrude West Bryan. She was a homemaker and a member of Emanuel Baptist Church. Mrs. Bambeck was preceded in death by her parents, husband James Bambeck, son Phillip Dewayne Bambeck, brothers Ellis, Dallas and Charles Brooks, and great granddaughters Clara and Carleigh Golden. She is survived by sons Danny Bambeck and wife Theresa of Palestine, Billy Bambeck and wife Joyce Ann of Elkhart and Kenneth Bambeck and wife Ann of Tyler, sister Vergie McCullar of Sacramento, CA., grandchildren; Scott, Melvin, Walter, Lisa, Leslie, Crystal and Amanda Bambeck and Brooke Golden, great grandchildren; Trina, Andrew and Jay Bambeck, Allyson and Chance Golden. Pallbearers will be Scott Bambeck, Melvin Bambeck, Walter Bambeck, Vance Golden, Jerry Fort, Mike Fort and Lloyd Kelsey.
