She was a graduate of Falmouth High School and a member of Berea Baptist Church. Mrs. Adams had retired from the
Federal Bureau of Investigation.
Survivors include her husband of 48 years, Bruce C. Adams; three daughters, Alice Doeppe and her husband, George, of Spotsylvania, Mitzi Allen of Belen, New Mexico, and Tamie Brooks and her husband, Roy of Alamogordo, New Mexico; grandchildren, George "Kip" Doeppe, III, and his wife, Carrie of Whitney Point, NY, Jennifer Tyler and her husband, Mark, of Richmond, Patrick Doeppe, Piper Doeppe and Jonathan Doeppe all of Standardsville; great-grandchildren, Katherine McNeill and her husband, Matt, Danny Tyler, George Doeppe, IV, Robert Doeppe, Dylan Doeppe, Ayla Nees-Doeppe; one great-great-granddaughter, Jaiden McNeill; her brother, William Dickinson; her sister, Lois Roberson and numerous nieces and nephews.
A funeral service will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday, October 27 at Berea Baptist Church with Rev. Scott Covington and Rev. William T. Price officiating.
Pallbearers will be George Doeppe, Jr., George Doeppe, III, Patrick Doeppe, Jonathan Doeppe, Mark Tyler, and Kevin Dickinson.
