NEOMA MATEJOWSKY BROSIG Neoma Matejowsky Brosig, 90, of San Angelo,
passed away Wednesday, Aug. 27, 2003, in a local hospital. Visitation
will be from 6-8 p.m. Friday, Aug. 29, at Johnsons Funeral Home.
Graveside service will be at 10 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 30, in Rowena
Protestant Cemetery, with the Rev. Chester McCown, pastor of Trinity
Lutheran Church, officiating. Neoma was born Jan. 27, 1913, in Rowena,
Texas, to Anton W. and Leonda Schuhmann Matejowsky. She attended
school at Sweethome, graduated as salutatorian from Ballinger High
School and attended teachers college in San Marcos. She taught school
at Lowake from 1932 to 1933 and was postmaster in Lowake from 1946-55.
Neoma was married to Roy Brosig on March 2, 1933, in San Angelo. He
preceded her in death on July 17, 1957. Her parents, three brothers
and two sisters also preceded her in death. Survivors include her
sons, DONALD "DON" & BILLIE BROSIG , of San Angelo and Mickey Brosig
and wife, Barbara, of Mercury; five grandchildren, Michael Brosig and
wife, Cindy, of Dallas, David Brosig and wife, Brenda, of San Angelo,
Chris Brosig and wife, Wendee, of Lubbock, Matt Brosig and wife,
Debra, of Cedar Park and DANNY BROSIG of San Angelo; six
great-grandchildren, Blake, Haley, Logan, Zoe, Breeanne and Brice;
numerous nieces and nephews; and two sisters-in-law, Flora Brosig and
Iola Brosig. Grandsons will be pallbearers. Memorials may be made to
West Texas Rehab or a favorite charity. The family wishes to express
their thanks to Regency House for the kindness and care.

Donald and Mickey, I am sorry for two reasons, for one, the loss of
your Mom, and for another, not seeing ya'll in so many years. It is so
hard to lose a parent, and accept it. Dad is on my heart daily. God
