Charles Edward "Eddie" Bell, age 66, passed away Monday, May 4, 2009, at Saint Joseph's Medical Center in Kansas City, Missouri.
Charles was born August 15, 1942, in Fulton, Missouri, the son of Bertie Lee (Cason) Bell and the late Charles E. Bell.
He is survived by his mother, Bertie Edwards and step-father Harold Palmer Edwards; one brother, Harold Bertha Edwards; one daughter, Rachelle Richmond of Columbia Missouri; one granddaughter, DeLesha Clark of Columbia, Missouri; two nieces Angelina and Andreanna Edwards of Kansas City Missouri; one sister-in-law, Joanne Marie DiFidi Edwards of Kansas City, Missouri; one aunt, Juanita Lee of Fulton, Missouri and a host of cousins.
Charles was a graduate of Carver Public School and Fulton High School. He served in the U.S. Army as a Medic at Fort Sam, Houston Texas and Seoul Korea. Upon discharge he worked at Danuser Machine Company for several years, Harbison Walker for a number of years and Westminister College from which he retired in the fall of 2007. He was a member of Calvary Baptist Church in Fulton.
Funeral services will be May 9, 2009 at Calvary Baptist Church.
Visitation will be Saturday May 9, 2009 at 2p.m. at the Church.
Entombment will be Saturday May 9, 2009 at Callaway Memorial Gardens.
