Olin Conrad Flora, 104, of Greeneville, died Thursday morning at Greeneville West Care and Rehab Center.
He was a member of Asbury United Methodist Church.
Mr. Flora was a native of Howe, Texas. He was born July 7, 1900.
The family moved to East Tennessee in 1903 and lived in Blountville until 1917, when they moved to Kingsport. He was graduated from Kingsport High School in 1920.
He was employed in the office of the J. Fred Johnson Store for a number of years. He later became an insurance adjuster, working in the Southeast until his retirement in 1969.
He was married June 5, 1927, to Jayne Haydon Larkins of Trigg County, Ky.
He is survived by his wife; special friends: James and Helen Smith and Mike Burns, all of Greeneville; and special caregivers: Peggy Fann, Linda Swatzell, Betty Derry, and Susie Buckles, all of Greeneville.
He was preceded in death by a daughter, Mary Jayne Blevins.
The family will receive friends from 6-7 p.m. today at Doughty-Stevens Funeral Home.
The funeral service will follow visitation at 7 o'clock in the funeral home chapel. The Rev. Julian Walton will officiate.
A committal service will be held at 1 o'clock Saturday afternoon in Oak Hills Cemetery in Kingsport.
