He was born Dec. 19, 1928, in Tionesta, to the late Everel and Ellen Hunter Beane. He was employed as a mechanic at Gordons Scrap Metal for several years, retiring in 1992, and enjoyed ice fishing and hunting. He is survived by his wife Gladys Mae Beck Beane, whom he married on March 6, 1969 at the First Church Of The Nazarene; a sister, Ruth Holmes, Kane; and several nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents he is preceded in death by five brothers, Rex Beane, John Beane, Bill Beane, Ford Beane, and Pearl Beane; four sisters, Esther Fiscus, Helen Holmes, Doris Bacon, and Margaret Walton. Friends may call at the Peterson-Blick Funeral Home, Inc., from 7-9 p.m. Sunday. A funeral service will be held there at 2 p.m. Monday, with Rev. John W. Mechtly, pastor, of the Warren Christian and Missionary Alliance Church, officiating. Memorial donations may be made to American Heart Association.
