Colonel in the Swedish Air Force. During the Congo crisis he was group captain of the Swedish UN-forces 1961-1963. In 1965 he became wing commander of F 15 in Söderhamn. He left the air force 1972 to work for the Red Cross in Geneva as Chief Delegate. He had missions in Etiopia, Jordan, South Vietnam, Somalia and Afghanistan.
He was also a very good swimmer and worked as a consultant with movies as an air force expert.
