Naomi Margaret Wachter Fleming, 90, of Greenville, died July 11, 2004.
Born in Baltimore, Md., she was a daughter of the late Louis Wachter and the late Ruth Brewster Wachter Rowland, and was the widow of Kenneth Fleming. Before her retirement, she was employed with the Greenville Hospital System. Mrs. Fleming was a communicant of St. James Episcopal Church for more than 50 years. She was a member of The Mary Elizabeth Chapter of the Episcopal Church Women.
Surviving are a daughter, Greta Wyatt, and her husband, Jack, of Greenville; a granddaughter, Kimberly Hudson, and her husband, Monte, of Greenville; a sister, Ruth Dyer, of San Antonio, Texas; and a brother, Calvin Rowland, and his wife, Betty, of Fletcher, N.C.
Memorials may be made to St. James Episcopal Church, 301 Piney Mountain Road, Greenville, SC 29609; or to Meals on Wheels, 15 Oregon St., Greenville, SC 29605.
Visitation will be held today from 7 to 8:30 p.m. at Thomas McAfee Funeral Home, Downtown. Funeral services will be conducted at 3 p.m. Wednesday at St. James Episcopal Church, with burial at Woodlawn Memorial Park. The family is at the home of the granddaughter, Kimberly Hudson.
