Noah's mother Mary is claimed to have been nee Devol, the blood of that surname part of the blood of this memorialist. The memorialist would greatly appreciate any confirmation that the maiden name of Mary, the 2nd wife of Oliver Davenport of Little Compton, formerly part of Mass. but now part of Rhode Island, was in fact Devol (q.v. Deuel, Devel, etc.) and the identity of her parents.
