Others claim he was b. on that date at Lebanon, Conn., which is not likely; he, his parents and siblings are listed in the vital records of Little Compton, Rhode Island albeit without birthdates. He d. Aug. 13, 1840 at Stamford, NY and is interred at the Stamford Cemetery.
On Sep. 23, 1784 at the Bozrah Cong. Chh. (at the time located within the Town of Norwich, Conn.), Noah m. Lydia Metcalf, dau. of Zebulon Metcalf and Lydia Bourne. She was b. Sept. 6, 1762 of record at Lebanon, Conn. and d. Mar. 21, 1852. Accordintg to the Hyde Geneal., they had nine children: Fanny, William, Lydia, Erastus, Ira, Henrietta Maria, Charles, Lucy and Pamelia.
