The Rev. James Donahoe, 84, pastor of St. Bridget's Catholic church and dean of the Catholic clergy in the St. Paul archdiocese, died Thursday at St. Mary's hospital after an extended illness. He had been pastor of St. Bridget's since the parish was founded 40 years ago.
He was born at Cardigan, Prince Edward Island, Sept. 16, 1870. He prepared for the priesthood at Dunstan's college Prince Edward Island and St. Paul seminary, where he was ordained June 13, 1904.
