Funeral services will be held at a 2:00 pm Mass of Christian Burial on Friday, February 16, 2007 at St. Alphonsus Catholic Church in Maurice for Sarah Turner Albarado, 43, who passed away at her residence.
Interment will take place in St. Alphonsus Cemetery in Maurice.
Rev. O. Joseph Breaux, Pastor of St. Alphonsus Catholic Church in Maurice will be Celebrant of the Mass and conduct the funeral services.
Mrs. Albarado, the daughter of Joseph Melvin Turner and the former Sable Duhon was a native and resident of Lafayette. She was a 1981 graduate of Carencro High School and attended USL for accounting. She was a loving wife and mother, being very involved with her children. Mrs. Albarado was a very strong person, having battled her sickness for eleven years.
Survivors include her husband, Mark William Albarado; two daughters, Megan Renee' Albarado and Brittany Ann Albarado; one son, Ryan Paul Albarado; one sister, Linda Broussard and husband, Jeff of Lafayette; two brothers, Joey Turner and wife, Allyson of Broussard, and Lonnie Turner and wife, Pam of Maurice.
She was preceded in death by her brother, Michael Turner; Paternal Grandfather, Stephen Turner; and Maternal Grandparents, Mayo Duhon and Agnes Breaux Duhon.
Delhomme Funeral Home, 200 Chief H Fred Avenue, Maurice, Louisiana was in charge of funeral arrangements.
