She was the daughter of the late Dr. James and Lucy Shuler.
She was retired from Pulaski County Dept. of Social Services and was a member of Duke Memorial Methodist Church.
Surviving are: her daughter and son-in-law, Melissa Bronson and David Sumiga, of Delahey Victoria, Australia; son, Robert Howard Allen, Jr. of Max Meadows.
Funeral service will be Saturday at 11 a.m. in the Grubb Funeral Home Chapel conducted by Rev. Dr. Donald Stansell with the interment in Comers Rock. The family will receive friends at Grubb Funeral Home Saturday from 10 a.m. until service time. Grubb Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
