Shirley Earlene Arnold, age 69, of Independence, MO passed away June 4th, 2012, at St. Mary's Hospital. Visitation will begin at 9:00 a.m. on Friday, June 8th, followed by funeral services at 10:00am at Calvary Baptist Church, 1915 N. Liberty, Independence, with Pastor Scott Beaman officiating. Burial will follow in Mt Washington Cemetery.
Mrs. Arnold was born November 3rd, 1942 in Prairie Grove, Arkansas. She was an active member of Calvary Baptist and her community. She was preceded in death by her parents, Earl and Dora Frederick-Clayton; brothers, Harold Clayton and Gerald Clayton; sister Bonnie Sue Clayton-Liguez; husbands: John Dwain Dugger, Orval Owens, and William Earl Arnold.
