The native of Wilburton, Okla., lived in Martinez for 47 years. She graduated from Alhambra High School in Martinez and Heald Business College. She was past president of East Bay Dry Cleaners Association and was the first female president of California Fabricare Institute. She enjoyed painting and bowling.
She is survived by her daughter, Sherry Ann Pevahouse of Martinez; son, John P. Snyder of Martinez; mother, Yvonne Madding of Martinez; four grandchildren; and one great-grandchild. Her husband, John Snyder , died in 1993.
Services: None. Private burial will be at Memory Gardens Cemetery, Concord. Arrangements by Connolly & Taylor Chapel, Martinez.
