"Mrs. J.S. (Josiah) Furtney received a message announcing the death of her little grand daughter, Lenora, the ten months' old daughter of Mr. and Mrs. C. Davis of Dickinson, N.D. The little girl had been sick with whooping cough but a message in the middle of the week, stated that she was doing nicely. The announcement of death came as a shock to the friends in Austin, Mower Co., Minnesota."
