Maria Rosa Lancellotti Apolito was born in Italy and came to America, first to Boston, and then to Jersey City. She had, with her first husband Federico Apolito, four daughters: Antoinette (1903-1985),Angelina (1906-1953), Josephine (1912-1984), and Rose (1909-1976). Soon after the death of her first husband she moved to Jersey City to be closer to her brother and sister-in-law Guiseppe and Olympia Lancellotti. She married a man named Marino, but the marriage wouldn't last. She would end her life as the companion of Domenico Cusanelli who lived at 138 1/2 Broadway in Jersey City, NJ. She is buried with her grandson Federico, her son-in-law Frank, and her daughter Antoinette (Anna).
