Helen (Glashauser) Albrecht was the sister of my (Melanie Anderson (#47932880)) great grandfather, Ludwig Glasshauser.
She came to America from Germany in 1921, on the passenger list she is named as the wife of Frank X Albrecht. At that time, he was widowed from his first wife and had 3 young children who she became a mother to. Although she had no biological children of her own, she also helped raise my (Melanie Anderson (#47932880))great grandfather's four children, as he was also a widow when his first wife died.
Her siblings are Ludwig Glasshauser, John B Glashauser, Grace Suss, Theresa Krell, George Glashauser and a half brother Henry Glashauser (who can all be found in findagrave).
I would love to be in contact with any distant cousins of mine related to Lena (Helen) (Melanie Anderson (#47932880))
