HERMAN F MOORE: son of William & Nancy Moore was born 28 Jul 1888. On 27 Dec 1911 he was united in marriage to Blanche Parker, Alma NE.
Six children were born, 5 of whom survive: Harlie C Moore-Philadelphia PA; Merle L Moore-Portsmouth VA; Lola Leadell-WichitaFalls TX; Lela Hurley-Grand Island NE & Neta Jensen-Grand Island NE. Also surviving is the wife of the home, Blanche Moore; 5 grandchildren; 2 brothers; Vern Moore-Memphis TN & Warren Dingman-Council Bluffs IA. His parents & 1 son preceded him in death.
He was engaged for many years in the plumbing business in Alma & in 1943 moved to Grand Island NE where he lived until his unexpected death this past week. Just a few days ago he & his wife had been visiting in Alma.
Services were conducted in Grand Island by RevRobertR Yelderman of the Christian Church. Having been in the Alma community there was a service at the First Christian Church-Alma with RevEllisJ Votaw officiating. Interment was at the Alma Cemetery. The Geddes Funeral Home of Grand Island was in charge.
