Tavete `Ahota`e`iloa, 25, died Nov. 20, 2003 from a seizure in his sleep. Born March 12, 1978 in Kahuku, Hawaii to Naumanuika and Vaoese Ahota`e`iloa of West Valley City.

Tavete was raised in Kearns and attended Kearns High School. He also attended Salt Lake Community College and served an LDS Mission in Pennsylvania, Harrisburg.

He enjoyed playing sports, especially rugby and football. Tavete was happiest when he was helping someone. He endured many health problems and tried not to burden others with his pains. His loving heart will be greatly missed.

Tavete is survived by his father Naumanuka, sister Olive, brothers Faifeau (Tiffany), Naumanuka Jr. (Malienafau), Paul Paanepasa, niece Yashica Ragin, nephew, Jesse Ahot`e`iloa, niece Maya Ahota`e`iloa and niece Sina Ahota`e`iloa. Tavete was preceded in death by his mother. Tavete also leaves behind a special loved one, Makalesi Alusa.

Burial services will be held Saturday, November 29, 2003 at 10 a.m. at Memorial Mortuary, 5850 S. 900 E., and the viewing services will be on Friday, November 28, from 6-9 p.m. Interment, Redwood Memorial Cemetery. For information call 840-9952.
