Abbott Rites Announced
Mrs. Aseneth Abbott, longtime resident of the Exline community passed away Monday at 3:00 a.m. in the Luse Nursing Home at the age of 89 years, one month and four days.
Born in Henry County, Iowa, January 3, 1877, she was the daughter of James and Margaret Harmon Worley.
She was married to John A. Abbott in Unionville, Mo., January 30, 1895 who preceded her in death May 21, 1938. She was also preceded by a son, Orval Abbott.
Survivors include a daughterin-law, Mamie Abbott of Des Moines, three grandchildren and three great grandchildren. She was a member of the Exline, Christian Church.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday at 11:00 from the Johnson Funeral Home with Rev. D. G. Fox officiating and burial in the Oakland Cemetery.
