Remenius, Lorraine (nee Birosh), age 88, of Merrillville, IN passed away Wednesday, May 30, 2012. Lorraine is survived by her son, Charles K. (Karen) Remenius of Crown Point, IN; 2 grandsons, Ryan (Dee) Remenius of Hobart, IN and Jeffery (Jennifer) Remenius of Crown Point, IN; great-grandchildren, Alyssa and Lucas Remenius and soon to arrive, Peyton Remenius; sister, Alice Mesarch of Merrillville, IN; many nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by her husband, Charles Remenius. Lorraine was a member of Ss. Peter & Paul Catholic Church in Merrillville and retired as Office Manager from the American Lung Association. Visitation will be held Friday, June 1, 2012 from 3:00 to 8:00 PM at Geisen Funeral & Cremation Services, 7905 Broadway, Merrillville, IN. A prayer service will be held on Friday at 3:00 PM. There will also be visitation Saturday, June 2, 2012 from 9:00 to 10:00 AM directly at Ss. Peter & Paul Catholic Church in Merrillville. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Saturday, June 2, 2012 at 10:00 AM directly at Ss. Peter & Paul Catholic Church, 5885 Harrison St., Merrillville, IN with Fr. Roy Beeching officiating.
