Actor. He appeared in many television programs and films over three decades, including ''Help!'' (1965), "Willy Wonka & the Chocolate Factory" (1971), "The Three Musketeers" (1973), "The London Connection" (1979), and "A Man for All Seasons" (1988). While on location filming "The Return of the Musketeers" in Madrid, Spain, he broke his pelvis being thrown from a horse. He subsequently died from internal bleeding.
