Dorothy Jackson, 85, of Elizabeth passed away Tuesday, Nov. 1, 2005, at Sunbridge Care and Rehabilitation Center, Parkersburg.

Born in Wirt County, she was the daughter of the late Harry and Ruth Baker Hupp. She was a member of the Worldwide Church of God, she was an active member and volunteer of Wirt County Senior Citizens and was a homemaker.
Surviving are her husband, Keith Jackson; four daughters, Sandra Burgess of Largo, Fla., Diann Smith of Coffeyville, Kan., Linda Hall of Pahrump, Nev., Deborah Chadock of Freeport, W.Va.; a brother, Donzil Hupp of Canal Fulton, Ohio; eight grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by a son, Clifford Paul; four brothers, Elmer Morte Hupp, Chester Hupp, Harold Hupp and Charles Hupp; and a sister, Deloris Nemeth.

Memorial services will be 2 p.m. today at Matheny Pomroy Funeral Home, with Warren Wilson officiating. Memorial visitation will be from noon until the time of service today.
