Barbara L. Heinly, 55, of Lightstreet, Columbia County, died Saturday in Geisinger Medical Center, Danville, Montour County, after a long illness. She was the wife of W. Charles Heinly. They were married 33 years last August.

She worked 19 years for the Columbia Montour Home Health Service, most recently as a rehabilitation nursing supervisor, until October of last year.

She was a graduate of the University of Pennsylvania Hospital School of Nursing, Philadelphia, and received a bachelor's degree in education from Bloomsburg University.

Born in Albany Township, Berks County, she was a daughter of Ada L. (Trexler) Donat of Lenhartsville R.1 and the late Nevin H. Donat.

She was a member of St. Matthew Lutheran Church, Bloomsburg, Columbia County.

Survivors: Husband and mother; sons, Mark N. of Hershey, Dauphin County, and W. Charles III of Mohnton, Berks County; daughter, Debra L. Nelson of West Reading; brother, Ronald W. of Lenhartsville R.1; and two grandchildren.

Graveside services: 2 p.m. Wednesday, New Bethel Union Church Cemetery, Kempton R.2. A memorial service will be held at 1:30 p.m. July 19 in St. Matthew Lutheran Church, Bloomsburg. Arrangements, Robert S. Nester Funeral Home, Jacksonville (Route 143).
