92, a resident of Albuquerque, passed on Friday, May 25, 2012. Survived by sons, Richard Apodaca and Ralph Apodaca Jr, and wife Roseann; daughters, Linda Aydelotte and husband James, Beatrice Martinez and husband Daniel, Anita Quintana and husband George, special friend, Quent Mischke; brother, Joseph Valdez; 23 beloved grandchildren, 22 great-grandchildren, and one great, great-grandson; sister-in-laws, Flora, Helen and Pauline and husband John. Aurora was preceded in death by her parents, Joseph I. and Ucia Valdez; daughter, Terrie Gilbert, and Ralph Apodaca Sr.; sister-in-law, Rosie Valdez, and Fr. Eugene Ballweber.
She was a Eucharistic Minister for St. Joseph's Hospital for many years and also with the Catholic Charismatic Center. Aurora retired from St. Joseph's Hospital Physical Therapy Department.
Interment will follow at Mt. Calvary Cemetery. Pallbearers will be her grandsons, Brian, Ted, Eric, Christopher, Aaron, and Cameron. Honorary pallbearers will be Eddie and Timmy.
